It’s literally a Ford Falcon Ute [XF]. It was part of this whole government program of model sharing between Japanese and Australian manufacturers.

During this time, Nissan sold the XF Falcon Ute as the Nissan Ute, and Ford sold the Nissan Pintara as the Ford Corsair and the Nissan Patrol as the Ford Maverick.
Toyota and Holden ended up doing something similar, with Holden selling the Camry as the Apollo and the Corolla as the Nova, while Toyota sold the Commodore as the Lexcen.
But lastly, Nissan and Holden also had an agreement, with Holden selling the Pulsar as the Astra.
